    Information states that the unit is made of engineered wood. Is this water resistant or would it crumble like an MDF door would if water breached the seal? Also the 5 year guarantee, is that on the basin, the unit or both? Other basins I’ve looked at carry a manufacturer 25 year guarantee. Our Advice

    The furniture is a mixture of MDF and Chipboard. The furniture is water resistant, not waterproof. The warranty is typically 5 years for both. Unless purchasing certain cloakroom basin vanity basins.
