Some sunshine, combined with the clocks going forward, brings a sense of Spring and Summer positivity, and, needless to say, a desire for some spring-like colour schemes. We’ve picked out a few fresh colour schemes for your new bathroom…
1 – Pink + White + Gold
Go for a luxury Spring colour scheme by teaming delicate pink with sophisticated brushed brass and white marble. It’s an easy-on-the-eye combination that won’t date and will definitely lift your spirits when you step into the bathroom. Our Bermuda Cashmere Pink vanity with Brass Knurled Handles comes in other sizes and with various basin options. A Munich Brushed Brass Wet Room Shower Glass Panel completes the look. Streamline the whole scheme with Carrera White Marble Effect Polished Porcelain Wall & Floor Tiles from our sister company, Tile Mountain.

2 – Glistening Gold Finishes
Gold, or rather, in most cases, Brushed Brass, is a cheering colour and finish to choose for a Spring colour scheme. We like the luxury look it exudes when teamed with off white and ivory tiles; it most definitely gives spa hotel vibes! Our Lyon Brushed Brass Wet Room Shower Glass Panel has an intricate mesh effect and comes in six sizes, from 800mm as shown, up to 1400mm width. That makes it very easy for bathroom designers to specify a width that will make the most of any size shower room. Keep the Spring look simple with just some low-keep accessories, perhaps a side table and a gorgeous candle.

3 – A Subtle Blush Scheme
Blush pink is perfect for a new Spring colour scheme – and it will look fresh and pretty all year round, especially in the darker months too! Blush pink can sometimes veer towards a beige-brown look, so check your colour samples in the bathroom when it’s ready for painting – and when the lighting is in place, too. Our Newham Freestanding Bath sits flush to the floor, so it’s easy to keep the floor pristine, and teamed with black accessories, this is an inspirational combination. Try Fairy Dust Easy Clean Matt Emulsion from Crown Paints.

4 – Add Some Spring Greens
Just one wall panel of coloured tiles will make all the difference, creating a spring colour scheme. Practically speaking, tiling a new wall, or a false wall if you’ve created an alcove or a shelf, is straightforward and can be a good practice run for more complicated tiling projects. We love these green tiles, and you can achieve a similar look with Victorian-Style Aquamarine Gloss Porcelain Wall Tiles from Tile Mountain. They are a perfect pairing with our Harrow 1700mm back-to-back-to-wall roll Top Bath, shown here with Chrome Claw Feet.

5 – Ivory + Brushed Brass
For a fresh scheme that is understated and chic, think about keeping things very simple with neutral ivory and Brushed Brass. Think brass or gold finishes for the taps and mirror details, perhaps for the lighting too. A marble-style countertop and a white ceramic basin keep everything sleek and neutral, ready for those vases of spring flowers. Shown here with our Mila Brushed Brass Illuminated LED Mirror.

6 – Pink + Patterned Wallpaper
Whether it’s a tiny cloakroom or a big bathroom, a touch of patterned wallpaper can make a huge difference to spring colour schemes. We love the way our Bermuda Cashemere Pink Basin Vanity stands out against dark wall panelling, but it’s the pairing with patterned wallpaper that makes the scheme stand out. Look for bold, bright patterns, and just match one colour to your paint, panelling or furniture for a successful Spring scheme.

7 – A Touch of Green
A mid-green is a shade for all seasons, it’s a grounding colour that can be paired with neutrals and white and which looks particularly striking with Brushed Brass accessories. Our Trafalgar Midnight Green Freestanding Roll Top Slipper Bath is shown here, it also comes in Graphite, Silver Effect, Gold Effect and Inky Blue. Plenty of potential for interesting colour schemes, whatever you decide your favourite is! It looks very elegant teamed with a freestanding bath-shower mixer, although it can also be used with wall-mounted taps. Shown here is our Trent Brushed Brass Freestanding Bath Shower Mixer Tap. Find those glorious floor tiles, Supernova Star Green patterned Matt Vitrified Ceramic Floor tiles, over at Tile Mountain.

8 – Fresh Paint + New Taps for Spring
Get the paintbrush out to create a new scheme, a very simple way of updating your bathroom look, and there are plenty of paint brands around that have bathroom-friendly finishes. Make sure the existing wall is smooth and dry before you start. Prime as necessary and finish with a splash-proof emulsion, a specific kitchen and bathroom paint, or an eggshell top coat. Our Trent Bath Shower Mixer set will add a fabulous Spring update to your bathroom scheme.

Conclusion
A Spring colour scheme can instantly feel uplifting and bring a brand new look to your bathroom. Think about adding rosy pinks, sunny yellows, leaf greens, pale blues and lilacs for a fresh, cheerful look. You can achieve this with a new coat of paint, a pretty vase with spring blooms, or a new panel of wallpaper or patterned/coloured tiles. Accessories also go a long way to creating a new colour scheme as well… swap your grey or white towels for cheerful yellow, orange or pink designs for a fresh, seasonal look.
