Lovely looking mirror but it is so difficult to get it on and off. It works but it is very erratic when I place my finger on the power button. Is it a fault or normal or is there a specific way of touching the button

The light is underpowered, and is not really suitable for, for example, applying makeup. Moreover, the touch sensor is not very good at responding to touch. The demister is fine.
